How much information can I have on my name badge? You can have as much information that can fit on your badge! Typically a logo and name with title is enough, but we can put multiple logos as much text as you require. Just remember, name badges are small, so keep it simple. If you have any doubts, just get in touch with our amazing team and we'll put together some options and email them to you and to be sure we can always send you a sample of the badge to ensure all information is easily read.

What is the best format for my logo?We prefer a PDF or EPS as this is typically a vector image and prints in the best quality and also generally matches your colours better than a JPEG or PNG or other format. However, we are talking about a 75mm x 25mm badge, so a high quality jpeg or PNG will work just fine. With technology these days we can generally redraw your logo to print it in the best possible way. We will always do a test and if it looks rubbish we are going to let you know. We don't let badges leave our office looking bad. It's not in our nature!

What colours do you print? Our printers print in CMYK. If you have pantone colours or RGB or even bitmap images, our printer will convert it to CMYK before printing. So the most accurate colour you can send us is the CMYK version. We will always offer a sample if you have any concerns about the colour matching in with your branding. Please be aware that our printer will always print colours different to other processes like business cards or shirts. It will be very, very similar, but will be different just because of the process and the materials we use.

What is the difference between the Bond and Classic Name Badges?Great Question! Both badges are printed in the same quality, typically using the same materials. The main difference is that our Bond badges have a resin doming applied. This is a 2 part resin that is applied wet and it hardens overnight to create a nice glass bubble effect on the top of the badge. The Classic has a flat finish. To keep the badges protected we apply a laminate over the top of the printing to ensure it lasts. The doming process is lengthy and costly, so the Bond badges are slightly more expensive. We created the Classic for those wanting a high quality badge in a cheaper price range.

What’s the difference between a name badge and a name tag?I think it's an American/Australian thing. Americans call them name tags and we call the name badges. It can get confusing, because in Australia we often use name tags as something we attach to kids clothing so they don't lose them.

Do you offer reusable name badges? We most certainly do. So because our personalised Classic badges are a flat badge, we have created our Logo Only Reusable Badges. They are the same as our personalised badges, however we just print your logo and leave the name space blank to allow you to write on or use a Dymotab machine to put names on and off. We have also recently included Chalkboard Reusable Name Badges which use a chalkboard vinyl on top of bamboo badges to create this really lovely look and can be used with our chalkboard pens to easily write on and wipe off the names.
